Simple and Easy DIY – No-Sew Upcycled Dog Toy from Old T-shirt

Here’s how to make a simple and easy dog toy, a no-sew DIY upcycled from an old t-shirt! All you need is an old t-shirt and a pair of scissors.

Start by cutting the bottom hem of the t-shirt off. Then, cut off the top part with the t-shirt sleeves. Next, cut the remaining fabric into vertical 1-inch strips. Set the two sewn-together end pieces aside. Stack the strips, then tie with with a big knot on the end. Split the ends of the strips into three equal pieces, then braid them. Finally, tie the final end with a knot. If you’re using a small t-shirt like the one in the video, you can use one of the set-aside pieces to tie off the end! That’s what I did, and it worked just fine.

As always, supervise your dog using the toy, as you would with any of their toys. Take it from your dog and discard it if it begins to fall apart or looks unsafe/hazardous.
